The Little Ballerina Girl

Little ballerina girl,
you are a toy.

You have to move,
the way he tells you to.
You have to smile,
even when you are in pain.

You have to perform,
it is your job.
You have to obey him,
without a sob.

Little ballerina girl,
you are a toy.

Please stop,
she is not a little ballerina girl.
Please stop,
she is not a toy for you to play with.

She had feelings too
so she begged him to stop
But her master knew no mercy
and made her feel unworthy.

Little ballerina girl,
you are a toy.

Why won’t you hear her?
Why won’t you hear her screams?
Why are her cries going in vain?
Can’t you see it, she’s in pain.

But she knew she was stronger than this
she knew she had power.
So the little ballerina girl
broke free and ran like never before.

I am the little ballerina girl
and I am not a toy.

    • There are a million reasons I write, but being able to motivate and inspire people through my work is one of the main reasons I write. Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot me. 💕
