Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a great day 😊 Thank you so much Shreya for nominating me for The Versatile Blogger Award. I was so delighted to know that I was nominated for an award again. Shreya is a wonderful writer whose writing is truly worth reading. Her recent post; Choice, starts like this :
“she needs makeup
to cover up
because society taught her
who she is, isn’t enough.”
He gave me a glimpse of heaven,
He gave me a glimpse of life.
Held me till my very last breath,
Telling me to hold on, hoping I would stay.
He became my strength and my weakness.
Plastered a smile on his face just to keep me strong.
Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a great day. My friend, Chaotic Mess nominated me for the One Lovely Blogger Award and honestly I am so excited because this is the first time that I am getting nominated for an award, so thank you Iris! 7 THINGS ABOUT ME :
1) I LOVE reading books 📚 ! Currently, ‘Maybe Someday‘ by Colleen Hoover and ‘A Court Of Thorns And Roses’ by Sarah J. Mass is at the top of the list of my favorite books.
Those stormy dark nights come and go.
Those traitorous friends come and go.
Once, when the storm lasted a little longer
And the screams grew a little louder
It was too much for them to handle
It was too much for them to standby
Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a great day. Guess who just got 100 followers? I did! Thank you so much everyone 😸
I started blogging back in March 21, 2017. My first follower was my SISTER 💕 and then many more people started following me. So far, my journey on my blog has been amazing because everyone (including YOU who is reading this) were so supportive and encouraging!
I remember I was so nervous when I posted my first blog post. After that eventually people started liking and commenting on my posts. Since this is a special post for me so here is a shoutout for all my favorite followers (in no specific order) :
The darkness consumed me
as the tide grew high.
The darkness consumed me
playing away with my death.
But I STOPPED.
I stopped caring,
I stopped hoping.
And I stopped loving.
He knows her.
He knows the girl who hides
Behind those four walls.
He knows the girl who fakes her smile
even on the days she wants to cry.
A storm in the midst of pain,
A battle in my head.
Darkness and an eternal night,
Lie ahead of me.
So dark, yet so appealing.
Every time I hear our song,
my heart aches for you.
I miss you every moment,
seems as though everything’s lost its beauty.
But every time I visit you,
I see the flowers that have aged with time.
And then I look away, letting the tears flow freely
It’s hard to hold back the feelings I tried to suppress.
Sometimes you have to let go, dear
The things which you thought brought you to life
were instead dragging you back down to hell.
