I Miss Her

1.jpg

I miss her
when I can’t breathe.

I miss her
when my hands get numb
from the scars.

I miss her
when I want to speak because
I’m tired of listening.

I miss her
on the days when my insecurities
get the best of me.

I miss her
when my home turns into
a house.

I miss her
when life is not worth living.

I miss the old me,
the happy me.

But everything has changed now.

      1. Wow! Thank you so much for checking out my blog. It means a lot to me. 💕

I checked out your blog too but I couldn’t understand the language you wrote in, maybe if you added Google Translate to you blog it’ll be easier for people of different languages to read your work. ☺️

P.S. I love your site name.

  1. A proverb I heard states we should love our creator with our good heart as well as our weak heart. I think your poem expresses a similar struggle to reconcile experience with innocence and essence. You have a great heart. That is evident here Zovi.
